| We provide legal advice to foreign and domestic clients in relation to general commercial and corporate law matters (e.g. contracts, tax, antitrust, labor issues, and capital increase) and are retained counsel for several major companies in Korea. For many years, we have regularly advised Korea’s national rail line, KORAIL, in relation to large foreign projects and various contract matters. In addition, we recently assisted agent companies for several foreign liners in establishing the Association of Foreign Ship-owners Representatives Korea. We also advise and act for several of the Association’s members individually and recently successfully defended OOCL Korea against a VAT claim by the Board of Revenue and Customs in Korea.
